A tree in my name
It took five years to make the movie earth I hope it doesn't take Disney the same amount of time to plant a tree for watching the movie. I went to see it on earth day. The movie was a bit short it followed 3 different families in there journey to conquer food. All three families have to travel for weeks to get to there meal. Some families are not that fortunate and become the meal. It was a sad story to see what global warming is doing to our planet and animals.
Teacher says get naked
On April 21st in a supreme court hearing regarding a student accusing another student, Savana Redding at Safford middle school in Arizona of being strip searched for having medication Ibuprofen.
There was talk around the school that other students were involved in having a prescription party. When the students officials got wind of this "party" they strip searched Savana because they believed she had ibuprofen. Now years later in 2009 she is suing. School officials defend themselves by saying " I would rather embarrassed one child then to have another dead."
I believe that at every age people have rights and Savana's rights were violated. In any other case or instance the authority's would have needed a warrant. Bottom line the school was in the wrong, there were a thousand ways they could have handled the situation instead of causing emotional damage.

Customer Service
Working in retail and customer service, made me noticed that the employees must act and behave a certain way. Its called customer service. The employee must be nice and bite their tongues when they get the challenge of dealing with a difficult customer. Employees have to obied by rules but what about the customer? What rules should they have to follow? I work at Ross and I deal with some of the rudest people ever!!! And its not just the verbal abuse its the way they look at you when they feel I should be kissing their ass trying to tell them how good something looks. I DON'T MAKE COMMISSION! So my salary will remain the same weather you buy something or not. But the thing that gets me the most is how they just don't care. If I were a guest at any one's home I would not make a mess out of anything. Time and time again I watch people look at something from a rack, the piece of clothing falls and they just walk away. its the rudest thing when people go into the fitting rooms try on everything in the store and give it back to me, expecting me to stop what I'm doing and hang the clothes they were too lazy to do themselves. I almost wonder what their homes must be like. Or I wonder the parenting styles when the son or daughter are the ones that are trying something on and they come out with the clothes and the parent says nothing O just hand them to her. If customers don't want to be given attitude then maybe they should treat others as they would like to be treated.
Rules when shopping
1.Know where your shopping
of course your going to get more attention at a Nordstroms vs Ross they make commission
2. Clean up after yourself
if you drop a shirt pick it up don't just walk away
3.Don't shoot the messenger
I don't make any rules up I get told what can and cant be returned so don't yell at me when i cant give you back the three dollars and .19 cents you paid for a shirt you bought 6 months ago your not renting clothes people your BUYING!
4. Pick up after yourself
that means if a shirt falls of hanger because you were looking at it don't just walk away PICK IT UP!
5. If you want someone to talk to get a dog
Don't call my work and complain about me because I never said hi to you that's not bad service that means your lonely.
6.Don't tell me to smile
Its easy for you to be happy your not working, your out and about on a sunny day spending some money while I have been on my feet for 3 hours now and just got yelled at.
7. Know the hours of the business
If the store closes at 9:30 don't come in at 9:20 wanting to try 30 things on and make everyone wait on you.

neXt
My next story..... Reviewing a movie without the unnecessary fancy smanshy talk. If you just wanna know the plot without the artsy view of things I will do that. There is nothing more I hate then reading a movie review and being told nothing about the movie.

Laughter
Laughter Yoga is an up and coming new craze that was originally created in India with only five people. Dr. Madan Katarian was the one who takes the credit for beginning the new fad that even got Oprahs Winfreys attention.
The entire point behind laughter yoga is that laughter is the best medicine. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/04/07/health/webmd/main1481492.shtml
It all started when Dr. Katarian took five people that stood in a circle and one by one would step to the center and tell a joke. Everyone soon realized that laughing made them feel better about them selves.
So, Dr Katarian took this laughter approach and improved it, linking it with yoga.
You are now including laughing with the yoga poses. You could do a downward dog and laugh. The point behind it is to make you smile and make you feel better about yourself.
I asked Jordan Hoffer a 22, year old male student at Oregon State University who partakes in yoga classes at the YMCA. He is a huge fan of yoga and has had the opportunity to try laughter yoga.
He said “I love the energy and the laughing, even though at first there was nothing funny to laugh about and I did feel weird about it. I just put on a smile and it came naturally. I guess you fake it till you make it."
Melissa Dickson at Linn Benton did not share the same feelings as Hoffer. She is a huge fan of yoga but thinks that adding fake laughter is pointless.
"I feel to have true happiness is not something you fake with a cheesy giggle or laughter."
I asked a yoga instructor what she though of the new craze Aurore Morley who teaches at Linn Benton. "I have never tried this kind of yoga it’s something that is more practised in bigger cities. I would love to have the opportunity to try such a happy version of yoga."
Weather you are a believer or a non believer it’s a new experience that everyone should be open to trying after all no one has ever died from laughter. Namaste.
